Why are you more expensive than the larger online platforms?
Online therapy sessions are £130 to £170 for 50 minutes, depending on your clinician’s grade, and the full breakdown is on our Fees page. That sits above some of the larger platforms, which start lower. Every clinician here holds a doctorate in psychology and is registered with the HCPC, working only in trauma, injury, pain, and long-term conditions. Most are clinical psychologists. It’s a different service, priced accordingly, and we’ll confirm your exact fee on your free introductory conversation.
You're small. Can you handle this?
We are a small team, all doctoral-level, all working within the same clinical territory. Being small is deliberate: it’s why, wherever possible, the psychologist who assesses you is the one who treats you. If a case isn’t a fit for what we specialise in, we’ll say so and suggest what would suit better.
Where's your outcome data?
We measure every client, every session, from day one: CORE-10 and the WAI-SR at every session, and CORE-OM and the WSAS at assessment and discharge. As that dataset grows, we will publish the real aggregate figures with full methodology, rather than a headline number without the evidence behind it.
Can you do medico-legal work?
Not currently. We treat, we don't provide expert-witness reports. We also wouldn't combine those two roles for the same person, because the job of treating someone and the job of giving an independent opinion about them pull in different directions.
Do you have a multidisciplinary team?
Not yet, by design. Today we are a focused team of psychologists, with multidisciplinary expansion part of where the practice is heading.
Can my health insurance pay for therapy?
Often, yes. Our clinicians hold individual recognition with Bupa, AXA and WPA, and can bill them directly. Most insurers ask you to get authorisation and a claim number before your first session. If you're with a different insurer, tell us when you get in touch and we'll check what's possible.
Can therapy be funded through a personal injury claim?
Often, yes. Your solicitor or case manager can refer you, and fees are agreed with whoever is funding treatment before it starts. Where therapy is connected to a claim, treatment records can sometimes be requested as part of that process. We'll explain what that means for you before you begin.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Please give us at least 48 hours' notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice are charged in full. The full terms are in our Treatment Terms and Conditions, which you receive before treatment starts.
How do online sessions work?
Sessions take place over a secure video link, which your clinician sends you before your appointment. You'll need a private, quiet space, a device with a camera and microphone, and a reliable internet connection.
Can I be seen in person?
We're an online-first service, but in-person appointments can be arranged for an additional £30 on top of the usual fee, whether it's an assessment or a therapy session, where that's genuinely what you need. Your clinician can talk this through with you.
What if you're not the right fit for me?
We work with adults. We explore whether our service is likely to be a good fit during your introductory conversation. Assessment helps us understand your needs in more depth. If another service would be more appropriate, we’ll explain why and discuss the next steps.
How do I raise a concern?
Our Treatment Terms and Conditions, which you receive before treatment starts, explain how to raise a concern and how we respond.
What if I need help urgently?
We're not an emergency service, and we can't respond to urgent situations. If you need help now, please see urgent help.
